Anna Riecken studied law in Paris and Potsdam, graduating with the licence en droit and the the state examination. In the course of her legal traineeship, she was at the German Embassy in Tunisia, among other places. Since 2009, she has held various positions in the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs active. Since 2017, she has been head of the unit dealing with women in leadership positions.
